From the Archive: Red Jungle Releases
Looking back at Red Jungle’s releases, artists and digital sessions.

“Torture” by Bubumatik was released by Red Jungle on June 23, 2021, becoming the label’s first release.

Bubumatik is a well-known name in the electronic music scene. He has played at major events including Germany’s Love Parade and Godskitchen, as well as many local and international events. After a long break from the studio, he returned with Torture, a single created especially for Red Jungle.

In its early years, RJ Music Label was based between Berlin and Istanbul. Inspired by its motto, “Be alternative, be yourself,” the label aimed to support new and independent artists.

The mixing and mastering of Torture was completed by German producer Christian Burkhardt at his studio in Frankfurt.

New Sounds

Torture was followed by releases from new artists joining the Red Jungle catalogue.

Opya released Noetic and Chasing, while Groovemonk followed with Nothing Like a Definite Maybe, Fragment and All Along Dem Day.

Bubumatik later returned with another single, “Reversible.” The video for the track was also released on the Red Jungle YouTube channel.

RJ Digital

Red Jungle’s music archive is not only about releases.

RJ Digital was created as a series featuring DJ sets and performances from different artists and locations.

One of these sessions, Raz’s DJ set from Miami, is available on the Red Jungle YouTube channel.

Red Jungle’s past releases, digital sessions and new music will continue to be part of the Music section.
